Layer 2 network on Ethereum, develop as the solution to the scalability of Ethereum and faster validation on blockchain with the Optimistic Rollup technology to improve the security and lower the transaction fee. Mantle Network strives to be compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) to provide the developers and users with the tool and contract that already exists on ecosystems of Ethereum. Mantle is also considered to be the first Layer 2 network that was created by DAO, as the leading in Token-Governed model.

Why Mantle
Mantle Network balance between security and efficiency with architect model of Modular. Each Modules is separate from each other on Mantle Network, meaning that individual modules can be upgrade separately, making the process to apply new technology to network much easier.
On Mantle Network, transaction process on each different layer alongside with Ethereum but applying Sequencer to create block on Layer 2 then send data to Ethereum mainnet on Layer 1. Transactions validate on Ethereum Layer while Mantle DA manages and prepares data with EigenDA, making sharing Data between Mantle and Ethereum faster and more efficient.
As Mantle Network main mission is to be solution to scalability on Ethereum, meaning the network aim to increase the transaction capability with lower gas fee comparing to Layer 1. MNT holders can stake the token to support the security and stability of network.

The utility of MNT, the native token of network, including fee for transaction on network, staking, and network govern right of the holder.
Roadmap and future of Mantle
Currently there are over 100 Dapps on Mantle which include DeFi, Gaming, NFT, Wallet, Metaverse, Social, Infrastructure, and DAO. Mantle announced early 2024 regarding partnership with Nansen, a Real Time data insight platform providing information on investing opportunity. With this partnership, users and investors will have access to Mantle insight from Nansen for investing opportunity. Recently in early July 2024, Mantle announced partnership with Pivot to develop ecosystem for Start Up on Web3.
